PARKING

​There is plenty of free parking surrounding the festival including the Park and Ride Lot on Butterfield between Dunne and Main, new parking structure between 3rd & 4th Street near Monterey and city streets where parking is permitted. If parking at the Park and Ride lot, entrance to the festival is just on the other side of the pedestrian train crossing and will put you in MunchkinLand and near the Depot Food Court. For a $10 donation to the Sobrato Band Boosters and FREE SHUTTLE right to the entrance, you can park at the large lot on the corner of Monterey & Cosmo.  Follow festival parking signs for easy parking directions.  


HANDICAP PARKING 

Handicap parking is available in the Park & Ride Lot on Butterfield Blvd between Dunne & Main street.  A pedestrian walkway across the railroad tracks is handicap accessible and will bring you right into the festival.  For a $10 donation to the Sobrato Band Boosters and a FREE SHUTTLE right to the entrance, you can park at the large paved lot on the corner of Church & San Pedro.  


SECURED BIKE PARKING 

What better way to get to the festival than by riding your bike.  And the best part is you get to park right at the front entrance of the Community Center off of Dunne Avenue, in our secured Bike Parking sponsored by Shifty Mobile Bicycle Service.   


MUSHROOMS 

The festival star is the mushroom.  Visit the Mushroom Educational Display and Exhibit sponsored by the Western Mushroom Marketing Association will be located in the Community & Cultural Center for free samples of blended beef & mushroom meatballs, free tote bags and purchase fresh mushrooms.  Enjoy Cooking Demonstrations featuring mushroom dishes.  Visit the many food vendors showcasing Mushroom dishes from stuffed, sautéed, sandwiched, deep fried and grilled.  And don’t forget to meet the festival mascot, Mardi the Mushroom.  


ENTERTAINMENT 

​Two stages of Live Entertainment will fill your day.  The Mardi Gras Stage is located at the Morgan Hill Downtown Amphitheater and The 4th Street Music Stage is located in on 4th Street near the Food Court.  The lineup includes everything from Dance favorites to Classic Rock, Blues and Bluegrass so get ready to kick up your heels.  Strolling Musicians and Street Performers will also dazzle you with their performances throughout the festival.  And, don’t forget to meet the Festival Mascot and have your picture taken with Mardi the Mushroom.   


MUNCHKINLAND 

Your kids will enjoy a wide variety of games and rides.  MunchkinLand is located between Second and Third Sts. on Depot St.  Meet Anna & Elsa from Frozen, Rapunzel & Flynn Rider from Tangled and Kenny the Clown will be making balloons for kids throughout the festival.  


FOOD 

There is something to please everyone’s palette. Mushrooms can be tasted in soup, stuffed, sandwiched, deep-fried, marinated, over rice and much more, as well as Tri Tip Sandwiches, Ribs, Pulled Pork and Brisket, Turkey Drumsticks, Calamari and Kabobs, Kettle Corn, Gyros and Falafels, Philly Cheese Steak, Chinese food, Mexican food and the list goes on. There are two food courts to help you find your favorite food. The Community Center Food Court is located in the Community Center Parking Lot and the 4th Street Food Court is located on 4th Street.    


BEVERAGES 

There will be plenty of locations to quench your thirst at the festival. There will be four Wine Booths throughout the festival serving local wines and a Wine Garden, with seating, near the Music Tree Stage. Beer trailers pouring Stella, Bud Light® and Shock Top® are conveniently placed around the festival near all the food and entertainment. The Beer Garden, serving Corona, Modelo and Microbrews, will be located in the Community Center Food Court and a Corona and Modelo Beer Tent by the Depot Music Strage. Quench your thirst with Sangria’s by both food courts.  Sodas and Water can be purchased from Live Oak High School Boys’ and Girls’ Volleyball throughout the festival. Also, enjoy beverages from our vendors including lemonade, iced tea, fruit punch, fruit smoothies, and much more!  


PREMIUM WINE TASTING EVENT 

Ticket holders gain access to a wine lover’s paradise in the exclusive Rose Garden at the Morgan Hill Community Center.  They will be greeted with a collectible event wine glass, 12 tastings of premium wines  from 4 wineries and shaded seating area with cocktail tables and chairs. $30 admission per person  


PETS: PLEASE LEAVE PETS AT HOME   

Festival organizers respectfully request that you be kind to your pets and leave them at home. The festival is mainly on asphalt, which can be very hot on your pet’s feet, and maybe a lot of people stepping on their paws. 

          GUEST SAFETY

 

  • NO outside coolers.  Backpacks are subject to search.  


  • We love pets but prefer you be kind to your pet and leave them at home, due to hot weather and hot pavement. Pets, service animals and any other types of animals must be continuously restrained so that they are under the immediate physical control of their escort at all times.  


  • You may not ride bicycles, skateboards, hover boards, roller skates or any other mechanical device except for those medically approved for the physically limited and children’s strollers.  


  • Smoking of any sort and vaping are prohibited by law except in designated areas.   


  • Distribution of fliers and handbills is not permitted.  


  • Alcohol not purchased on site from licensed vendors is not permitted per state law.  


  • Amplified sound devices that are not part of planned shows are not permitted.  


  • There are backstage areas of the festival where guests are not permitted. These are clearly marked.  


  • Vendors who are not registered and approved by the Mushroom Mardi Gras are forbidden to sell in the festival.  


  • No Drones  


  • No tents, canopies, large beach umbrellas or any other large shade objects that will obstruct view of the stage, are allowed to be used in the Amphitheater area.  Smaller, individual sized umbrella’s are ok.
